Description

In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, all occupants/employees must receive training in their workplace to enable them to act in accordance with the facility’s Emergency Response Procedures.

This eLearning short course has been designed as a refresher course only. All occupants across all industries and workplaces should complete General Occupant training to stay current in legislation, policies and local procedures. This course does not replace the need for practical face-to-face training. All occupants/employees, regardless of if they are full-time, part-time, casual or volunteers are required to complete this training as part of their induction and at intervals of no greater than 12 months.

This course has been designed around the principles of the Australian Standard AS 3745-2010 – Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 4083-2010 Planning for emergencies health care facilities.
