Description

Confined Small Workplace Emergencies (First Attack Firefighting) covers small workplace emergencies which may include such incidents as a small fire that can be controlled using a nearby fire extinguisher. This program is designed to provide participants with the required knowledge and skills to prepare for emergency situations, identify and assess the emergency, safely contain small workplace emergencies, use initial response equipment on small un-established workplace fires and report those workplace emergencies.

This program includes participants demonstrating extinguisher use in a simulated workplace emergency situation and demonstration of a fire blanket.

These units have been developed to cover the broad range of emergencies and workplaces as considered in Australian Standard 3745 -2010.
